Back by popular demand... This design is no longer in our hard copy catalog, but because of the interest expressed by web site visitors, we have brought her back.
The following copy appeared in our 1962 catalog: The MISSILE is a bundle of greased lightning compacted into a sleek hull form. The v-drive hulls are without a doubt the fastest type monoplanes available. When powered with the right power plant, the MISSILE will "take off" as if heading for outer space. When handled sensibly, this hull will still be as safe as is possible at the higher speed ranges. The flaring anti-trip chines will prevent tripping on turns, and the wide beam gives positive stability at high speed. Use her as a pleasure craft or ski boat. Whatever the use, the MISSILE is at home in the fast lane.
The construction of the Missile was especially prepared for the amateur builder. Since the hull was actually built in our shop, we have a complete series of photographs of the actual construction. These photographs have been incorporated in the instruction booklet that contains step by step building information on the construction just as we accomplished it. In addition to the instructions, a bill of materials and fastening schedule is given. The plans themselves include the various details and points necessary for the construction. During our building, we added numerous sections and drawings to the plans to clarify any point that was not entirely clear. A knowledge of offset tables is not required as Glen-L has expanded the lines and dimensioned each part from the actual building of the hull.

"These pictures of the Missile were taken in 1963 when I built the boat, being 17 at the time. The project took 18 months and I still say it was the best thing I have ever done. I built the model first and it was a help, it is 43 years old. I have always thought I would build another of your designs, and still hope to soon, I have never seen anything that equals your designs in looks, ease of construction, and boat behaviour. Thanks again, Ron Humphrey. Wodonga, Victoria, Australia
