SYSTEM THREE SILVER TIP NON-BLUSH LAMINATING RESIN
We feel that the main benefit of System Three SilverTip Resin is its non-blush quality. Even at low temperatures and high humidity, this resin will not blush. This means you don't have to wipe down the cured epoxy between coats which will save you time and energy better spent building your boat. There is also a longer working time with this resin, but not an extended cure time. So, you have more time to apply it properly without taking longer to complete your project.
SYSTEM THREE SILVER TIP PRODUCTS
SilverTip Laminating resin can be used with fillers as bulking agents for use as a glue or for filleting. However, System Three has developed some great prepared products to really speed up your building time for filleting, fairing and gluing as described below.
SilverTip Laminating Resin has been formulated as an optimized system for coating and fiberglassing wooden boats, the repair of fiberglass boats and for use with carbon fiber sporting goods & autobody parts.
Use at a simple 2:1 volume ratio with either the fast or slow hardener. Use at temperatures as low as 35F with no limitations on humidity. Even at lower temperatures and higher humidity this resin will not blush on curing. The medium-low viscosity of SilverTip Laminating Resin wets out fiberglass cloth quickly and allows for use "as is" for either coating or fiberglass work.
