Plans include two options: The Center Console version with
forward casting deck or the Windshield Version.
Plans also include 6º aft vee-bottom option for inboard
jet pump installations.
Equally at home in whitewater rivers, fishing on lakes and
bays, or towing skiers, our JET SETTER whitewater sled plans
come in either a "Windshield Version" with hinged
center section, bow cockpit, or raised casting deck; or as a
"Center Console" with raised casting deck forward.
Power can be a 20" or 25" shaft outboard (jet pump
or prop type), or inboard with I/O to 900 lbs., or jet to
1000 lbs. In any case, the v-bottom hull with three rub rails
per side can handle turbulent waters while fending off rocks
and hazards with aplomb.
Ply hulls use ½" bottom and " sides over
husky sawn frames. Aluminum hulls use welded 3/16"
bottom and sides backed by standard shape longitudinals and
transverse frames. Plans show easy ways for varying boat
length. FULL-SIZE PATTERNS are provided for hull framing
members. Instructions especially for do-it-yourself builders
include material lists so construction is fast and easy even
for first-timers.
