Dinky
Our DINKY is a marvel in ship-to-shore dinghy design. It's also a great pram for a little fishing or sailing expedition. The kids will love it and so will you since the watertight compartments with optional flotation filling make DINKY virtually unsinkable.
Our STITCH and GLUE building method makes DINKY incredibly fast, easy, & cheap to build. All it takes are two sheets of 1/4" X 4' X 8' standard plywood. Full Size Patterns are provided for all the planking panels and contoured parts. Simply cut out panels, stitch together, bond in place, and you have a hull.
You can make your DINKY into a sailboat at any time using the simple shippable sailing rig detailed. This includes the option of making a two-part mast and folding rudder-tiller, both of which can be stored within the DINKY when dinghy-carrying space is at a premium. The leeboard keeps the cockpit open without leaks common with daggerboard and centerboard trunks. The completed boat is light enough to transport anywhere, and small enough to store or carry in or on almost any vehicle.
