Vary your boating pleasure with the VARIANT, a deep vee cruiser with houseboat accommodations packaged in a hull designed for high speed, rough water use. You can have these spacious accommodations in one of two versions. If you like the comfort of a sheltered cockpit for those hot summer days or to keep out the wet, build her as shown. If you're one of the sportfishing set, leave the cockpit cover off and use the roomy 6' x 8' cockpit for fishing. The VARIANT can be powered by either an I/O or a vee drive installation mounted under the flush cockpit. Both versions are fully detailed in the PLANS and covered by the instructions. In either version, you get the same cabin layout designed to sleep up to six full size adults, plus an extra large flying bridge deck where the crew can bask in the sun.

Storage areas are in abundance, with a large hanging locker located amidship on either side of the boat, plus lots of space under all berth areas. The hanging locker on the port side also acts as a serving counter for the galley. Rarely will you see a galley like this on a 29' boat. Space is provided for a large ice box, a large stove with oven, sink and abundant locker and drawer space. The U-shaped layout allows the chef to work out of the way of in and out traffic. The toilet room has a shower in addition to the sink and toilet, plus plenty of storage space here too. Choose the VARIANT if you are looking for maximum accommodations and elbow room in a boat under 30'.
