Our SUPER HUCK is a larger version of our Huck Finn, designed for larger load capacities. The bulkhead/frame construction is easy, and because of the hull shape, requires very little fairing. We provide the easy-to-use Plans and Full Size Patterns or Frame Kit for the pontoons, plus details for the deck unit. Choose from our various cabin plans or leave the deck open for the ideal party boat. Whatever configuration you choose, use the SUPER HUCK plans to build pontoons from 24' to 32' lengths with 8' beam for trailering or 10' beam for mooring on your favorite river or lake.
All units come with flaring bowed pontoons with sharp entry stems for least resistance. Stern sections are rockered to reduce power requirements and make handling easier. All units are stable as a rock, but are meant for use only in protected waters such as rivers and lakes. These boats are not meant for high speeds; leisurely speeds with low power and economy give you time to take in your surroundings. Because the pontoons are made of plywood, there is no noisy expansion and contraction as with metal boats. Build your own trailer using our special SUPER HUCK TRAILER PLANS. Deck units and the pontoons are detachable from each other so that storage need not be a problem.
COMPLETE PLANS include FULL SIZE PATTERNS for the stem, bow spreader, bow spreader gusset, and half-section patterns for each of the bulkhead/frames and transom. Includes instructions, Bill of Materials, and Fastening Schedule. This package includes only the pontoons and deck.
Note: The SUPER HUCK Plans & Patterns do not include the plans for the Huck Finn "Cabins". These units must be ordered separately.
