Hull type: Vee bottom hard chine hull developed for
sheet plywood planking.
Power: Single or twin short shaft outboard motors.
Long shaft motors can be used if transom modified.
Optional stern mounted inboard motor to 600 lbs.
connected to an outdrive.
Can the hull be extended or shortened? Extended: No.
Can be shortened up to 10% by re-spacing the frames
from the aft end of the stem to the transom a
proportional amount. We do not recommend increasing the
beam.
Trailer: Designed for use with Glen-L Series 3800 boat
trailer plans.
The deckhouse on the LAZY DAZE features full headroom and
berths are a generous 6'-6" in length. The head is
fully enclosed and there's a roomy hanging locker. The
galley offers provisions for total self-containment. The
helmsman seat reverses to form a dining area in conjunction with
the aft seat. Optionally, the builder could install upper and
lower berths here in lieu of the single berth formed by the
dinette. The cabin has a light and spacious feeling due to the
large window area.
The hull has plenty of depth, and features a vee entry that
flattens out aft for economy and stability. Power can be
outboard or stern drive inboard.
