Glen-L 6.9
The GLEN-L 6.9 is easy to trail and easy to launch. The combination ballast keel and centerboard allows shoal draft maneuverability, coupled with stability and safety. Sailing vacations can be spent anywhere there is a launching ramp, and at the end of the season, simply moor your GLEN-L 6.9 in the backyard. Accommodations include honest-sized berthing and cabin seating for four, space for a head which can be curtained off for privacy, galley facilities, and a huge hanging locker. The cockpit is roomy and comfortable, as well as being convenient for handling the rig. Power can be provided by an outboard motor hung on a transom bracket. Superior performance is assured by a generous spread of "canvas" whether using the working jib or optional Genoa. Built with "one-off" fiberglass methods and materials (either foam sandwich or fiberglass planking), the amateur can now build his own fiberglass sailboat that will equal or exceed the quality of mass-produced boats. Our Plans and Pattern package shows you how, covering all aspects of the construction. Also available are various accessory kits so that building and outfitting your own GLEN-L 6.9 will be a rewarding experience you'll be proud of.
