The ESCORT is just the boat for the fishing and diving enthusiast. A compact flying bridge offers visability all around to enable the pilot to be aware of all the activities of the crew members. The full length deep vee hull provides a smooth ride even when speeding to those far away fishing or diving areas. An 8' beam and lightweight hull allows ESCORT to be trailered anywhere, thus avoiding mooring fees and letting you take faster and shorter overland routes to far away or inaccessible fishing areas. With the cockpit forming over half of the boat, there is plenty of room for fisherman or divers and their gear. The cabin features a surprising 6' headroom in the galley area where there is plenty of room for an ice box, sink, stove, and related equipment. The 6'-2" vee berths have a space for a head under the center portion.
- ESCORT can be powered with a single inboard stern mounted motor driving through a stern drive (I/O) or v-drive. Optionally, single or twin outboard motors can be used. The lightweight, sturdy plywood hull makes a good turn of speed possible. Sheet plywood makes the hull easy to build, and the bulkhead framing method goes together quickly using our Full Size Patterns.
