A 15' outboard bass fishing boat

Check over the deck layout of the BASS BOAT and you'll see that this one has just about everything imaginable for the ultimate bass fishing boat. Maybe you don't want all of these gadgets, or maybe you even have some to add that we haven't thought of... that's the beauty of building your own. You can make it the way you want it, not the way some plastic boat manufacturer thinks you want it. The coins you save by building your own will buy a lot of fancy fishing gear.

The hull of the BASS BOAT can handle short or long shaft outboards up to 70 horsepower. The lean width is in response to the requirement specified by fishing writers, that it be able to get into those tight areas among the stumps and reeds where the big one lies waiting. At full bore, the boat rides easy and flat, with plenty of stability at rest for steady casting. The control console can be omitted, and the popular stick steering control substituted, if desired.

The lightweight, strong, plywood construction makes it possible for just about anybody to make his own BASS BOAT using our comprehensive easy-to-understand Plans and Full Size Patterns.

A "real" bass fisherman is dedicated to his sport, and he's got to have the best equipment and boat. What better way to get the perfect boat than building it yourself? That's what the BASS BOAT is all about! It's just the right length, just the right beam, just the right depth, and if you build it... it'll have just the right fisherman.

COMPLETE PLANS include FULL SIZE PATTERNS for the transom knee, stem, bowpiece, frames, and transom. Includes instructions, Bill of Materials, and Fastening Schedule.
