The result is an incredibly lightweight, frameless craft, that's strong, able, and pleasing to the eye.
Best of all, the POWER SKIFF won't send you to the poor house. All it takes to complete the 12' model is three sheets of 1/4"x4'x8' plywood and a half panel of 3/4". Assembly is quick & easy--just cut out the plywood parts after transferring them from the patterns, stitch up and glue the seams, and you have a hull. No lofting, no layouts, no building jigs required.
The POWER SKIFF's unique FAST-G hull design features a hard chine, arc bottom aft for agility, stability, and speed. Chines fade out forward for rounded side/bottom sections which form an easy riding convex vee entrance. Built-in flotation chambers and the naturally buoyant wood hull give piece of mind. Although engines up to 15 HP can be used, a 5 HP engine gives ample performance. BUILD IN FAST-G STITCH-N-GLUE.
