a 14 1/2' deep vee outboard sport boat

CELERITY means swift and agile, and that's what she is. But this compact runabout is much more. Unlike the typical lightweight, skimpily built boats commonly found in this size range, CELERITY rides and handles like much larger boats. It has a full length deep-vee hull with a minimum 16 degree vee at the transom, plus a radiused keel section for a soft ride. Lift strakes assure quick acceleration and deflect spray for a soft ride. The wide beam with full length flaring topsides allows a large, stable, and deep cockpit, well suited to the fisherman or sports oriented family.

The construction of CELERITY is husky for durability and strength. No difficult construction procedures are necessary, and all plywood can be standard 4'x8' sheets for economy. Our Full Size Patterns make construction well suited to the first time builder and the instructions provided with the plans assure professional results you will be proud of.

CELERITY can be powered with a single outboard motor of at least 20 hp for optimum minimal performance. Optionally, twin motors can be used as long as power recommendations are not exceeded. While seating is shown, the builder can vary this to suit, arranging the roomy cockpit to his needs by either adding to or deleting seating as desired. In short, this is a versatile, yet compact, inexpensive boat to build or own.

COMPLETE PLANS include FULL SIZE PATTERNS for the stem, breasthook, transom knee, deck beams, and half-section patterns for each of the frames and transom. Includes instructions, Bill of Materials, and Fastening Schedule.
