To drain oil, simply push the end of the hose through the transom drain hole and remove cap. When not in use replace cap and leave the hose in the bilge until next use. For boats in water, attach a pump. Earlier US autos almost all had 1/2" plugs. Many later models are made in metric sizes. Check the plug size of your motor before ordering. The hose length is 42".
