"My Zip is my first boat build and I can't tell you how much fun it was building it. Now that it is completed I am amazed how much attention, questions and comments I get from everyone.
Thanks for the great plans, the information, and great products. I'm ready now to start another one, but having a hard time making my mind up which one to build!"

ZIP is a high speed, deluxe sport runabout in the classic
style. She furnishes all of the flashing speed, thrills, and
performance that one could hope for. Ideally suited for towing
water skiers or showing the local lads a clean pair of heels ZIP
can also be finished as a utility with a large open cockpit for
fishing or general use. With her flaring sides, she is very dry.
The bottom design allows for quick starts and excellent
performance, with a generous vee forward to cushion the ride. A
roomy 5'-9" beam assures stability.
Another Zip Builder Speaks Out:
"These are photos of my Z-zip . I finally finished her
this summer after three years. I'm very pleased with her.
She's met or exceeded all my expectations. I have a 1960
Merc 400 (45 hp). I can pull a water skier and we have a lot
of fun tubing. It's a perfect boat for my family and our
lake." - Howard Katzman, Michigan
