Hull type: Double-ended, multi-chine canoe designed for
sheet plywood planking.
Can the hull be extended or shortened? Yes. Up to 10%
by re-spacing the frames from the aft end of the stem
to the transom a proportional amount. We do not
recommend increasing the beam.

At last....a true canoe that can be built with standard size
sheets of plywood! Using the multi-chine principle, building
your own canoe is fun and easy too. You have a choice of two
sizes (13' and 15') both fully detailed on the plans.
You get our usual high-quality, step-by-step instructions, full
size patterns, and easy to follow plans covering all phases of
the construction that Glen-L has become famous for... all at a
low price.
The construction method is simple and unique, with the canoe
being built over temporary forms. After the boat is planked,
these forms are removed leaving a clean interior and a hull that
is light weight but still very strong.
How does this multi-chine canoe compare to the conventional
round bilge type? Very well indeed! In the water the difference
is not readily discernible, and performance is excellent. Truly,
this is a canoe that incorporates what most builders want:
Simplicity of construction and fine performance, all at a low
cost.
