#1 Silica - One pound

Primary Use: As a high-density thickening agent in fillets or fairing putties to prevent sagging. Also for structural gluing applications.

#1 Silica is the best all around filler. Added to other fillers, it will improve their workabilty. Sandability can be improved by adding Microspheres. Order on the basis of approximately 1/2 pound per gallon for a creamy consistency or approximately 1-1/2 pound for filleting purposes.

	A Wonder Material when Mixed with PoxyShield
It took a while for me to learn about silica and then discovered what I had been missing. Mixed with PoxyShield, #1 silica makes an easy to use and very strong filler. And after curing and sanding, it makes me look like an expert finish carpenter.
